CALL IT HALF PRICE TUESDAY!
February 24th, 2009
Think today is just another Tuesday? Wrong.
According to Shanghai Tourism Bureau, 18 tourist attractions in Shanghai are offering a 50% off discount on their entrance fees every Tuesday from February 24 to April 28. You don't have to show any indentification or papers to get the discount - just go there and pay.
The list of 18 tourist attractions include Oriental Pearl Tower (100-150rmb), Shanghai Wild Animal Park (100rmb for adults, 50rmb for children), World Financial Center Observation Deck (100rmb), Jinmao Tower Observation Deck (70rmb), Confucious Temple(10rmb), Fangta Garden (12rmb), Century Park (10rmb), Sheshan Forest Park (30rmb), Moon Lake Sculpture Park (80rmb), Former Residence of Song Qingling (20rmb), Former Residence of Sun Yatsen (20rmb), Yinqixing Indoor Skiing Site (98-218rmb), Shanghai International Circuit (40rmb), Urban Planning Center (30rmb), Science & Technology Museum(60rmb), Changfeng Ocean World(120rmb for adults, 90rmb for children), Shanghai Film & TV Amusement Park (55rmb) and Madame Tussauds Shanghai (135rmb). All prices in the bracket are the orignal fares, of which you only need to pay half on Tuesday.
If you're like me who haven't been up on the Pearl Tower after seven years in Shanghai, well, next Tuesday might be a good time to finally check it out. And how about the slightly spooky but ultimately fun Madame Tussauds? Where else can we take photos with Yao Ming and Liu Xiang anyway?
